The weak layers need time to adapt to the increased load brought by the weather the previous days. Weak layers are getting wet and moist, large slab avalanches may be released spontaneously. Above the new snow line the wind will form fresh wind slabs. Wet loose avalanches may occur in sunexposed very steep terrain. (NVE)

Avalanches in fresh wind slabs may easy be triggered by a skier. Risk of naturally released avalanches i fresh snow in steep slopes facing the sun. Avoid cornices and areas below glide cracks. (NVE)
