Avalanche

Locally unstable conditions. A skier or a snow mobile may trigger avalanches in the fresh wind slabs, while persistent weak layers deeper in the snow in general is hard to trigger. Small loose avalanches in sun exposed terrain. (NVE)

Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here, or they can release when the temperature increases and the sun comes out. Avoid staying under glidecracks. A weak layer of facets might develop near the surface and make it easy to release avalanches in the fresh wind slabs. (NVE)
