Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here, or they can release when the temperature increases. At high altitudes, a persistent layer of facets are buried deep in the snowpack in isolated areas.

Wet snow (loose snow avalanches)

on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.

Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Snøoverflaten består av tung og myk snø etter flere dager uten gjenfrysing. Snødekket begynner å bli tynt og uten lagdeling i mange sørvendte heng, mens det fortsatt er en del snø og noe lagdeling i nordvendte heng. Snøgrensen ligger på 600-1000 moh og er lavest i skyggesider.

I det gamle snødekket lå det tidligere vedvarende svake lag. Disse antas nå å ha blitt omdannet til smelteformer mange steder, men i nordvendte heng kan det fortsatt finnes rester.

Mandag morgen hadde det blitt registrert fra 3 til 15 mm nedbør i regionen siste døgn.
