Generally stable conditions, but danger of wet avalanches in steep terrain. Sun-exposed mountainsides are most exposed, especially during the afternoon. Keep safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøgrensen ligger nå på ca. 1000 moh, men det er stor forskjell på sørvendt og nordvendt terreng. Snødekket er vått, men fryser til i overflaten på nattestid. Bekker begynner å bli åpne, og det er mange steder overvann på islagte vann.

Snødekket er smelteomdannet til bakken.

Onsdag formiddag meldes det om mye vann i snøen i Rauland. Natt til torsdag var det minusgrader fra rundt 1000 moh og høyere.

1 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as rain. Breeze from west, changing to strong breeze from the west during the afternoon. -1 °C to 11 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.
