Large amounts of rain will weaken the snowpack considerably. Above the new snow line the danger will increase in lee areas. Avoid areas under glide cracks.

Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Etter snøværet på lørdag og søndag ligger det nok tørr snø i overflaten som i leområder antageligvis har samlet seg til myke fokksnøflak i leområder og forsenkninger. Der vinden har fått tak eller det har kommet lite ny snø i løpet av helgen er det avblåst og gjenfrosset til glatt skare. Under den øverste, tørre snøen er det våtere lag av ulike smelteformer og fokksnø fra sist uke.

Lørdag kveld snødde det ved havnivå.

Lørdag ble det observert ett stort, naturlig utløst skred i et kjent skredløp ved Arstaddalsdammen i Beiarn.
