Be careful in steep terrain with wind deposited snow. In some places, the snow surface is icy, and the risk of slipping is high.

Fredag blåste det en del, dette førte trolig til en mer vindpreget snøoverflate. Lørdag kom det et lite dryss med nysnø.

Nord i regionen har det tidligere vært meldt om skred på svake lag av kantkorn. Status rundt dette problemet er noe usikkert.

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from northeast. -13 °C to -3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Tuesday 2. April 2024

No precipitation. Fresh breeze from east, changing to breeze from the northeast during the afternoon. -19 °C to -11 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det er liten skredfare. Vær likevel forsiktig der det har lagt seg fokksnøflak. Kaldt vær gjør at stabiliseringen av fokksnøen tar tid.
Vær obs på at det andre steder i Nordland har blitt observert et svakt lag av rim under fokksnøen. Finnes dette også i Salten kan det være lett å løse ut skred, også på avstand.
Der hvor det er avblåst og svært hardt er det fare for utglidning.
