I høyden er det kommet endel snø de siste dagene, mens det er bart i lavlandet. Snøgrensen varierer i regionen og er høyest i sørvendte hellinger og lengst ut mot kysten. Den eldre snøen som finnes er grovkornet smelteomvandlet og våt eller fuktig.
