You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Under skoggrensa er det bra med løssnø, men det blir gradvis mindre opp mot skoggrensa. Rundt skoggrensa er det myk fokksnø. I fjellet er det mange steder lite snø etter at vinden har blåst bort mye av snøen.

Det finnes svake lag av kantkorn og rester av rim fra desember. Lagene ligger under harde flak og er vanskelige å påvirke.

4-8 mm precipitation. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Strong breeze from southeast, changing to fresh breeze from the south during the evening. -9 °C to -4 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Thursday 12. January 2023

15 mm precipitation, up to 35 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 600 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Strong breeze from southeast, changing to strong breeze from the west during the afternoon. -5 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
