You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snødekket er generelt smelteomdannet og preges av hard fokksnø eller smelteomvandlet snø. Snøgrensa varierer mellom 500 og 900 moh og ligger lavest i skyggesider i indre strøk.

6-8 mm precipitation. Rain up to 1300 m a.s.l Monday night. Fresh breeze from south. -1 °C to 4 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det kan være lett å løse ut våte løssnøskred i bratt terreng. Mye vann i snødekket kan også gi naturlig utløste flakskred og glideskred. Unngå opphold under glidesprekker og kjente glideskredområder.

På de høyeste toppene kan det til tider komme noe nedbør som snø. Dette kan danne ferske fokksnøflak. Disse ventes å stabilisere seg raskt i de høye temperaturene.
