Be cautious in steep terrain with wind slabs that could be triggered. Generally expect a hard and stable snow pack.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Natt til lørdag kom det 0-20 cm nysnø i høyden.
I de høyestliggende områdene finnes det litt tørr fokksnø i leområder under nysnøen.

Mildvær har ellers stabilisert det gamle snødekket høyt til fjells.

I lavlandet er det lite snø etter mye mildvær i det siste.

3-5 mm precipitation. Rain up to 600 m a.s.l Saturday night. Strong breeze from north, changing to breeze from the northeast during the evening. -10 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Sunday 17. March 2024

Little to no precipitation. Strong breeze from southeast. -12 °C to -4 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Det vil være mulig å finne ustabile fokksnøflak i de høyestliggende områdene i flere himmelretninger.

I svært bratte solvendte heng kan det gå små våte løssnøskred hvis sola får nok tak.

I store deler av regionen der snøoverflaten består av hard skare er snøskredfaren liten.
