You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Lengst vest i regionen finnes det fremdeles sammenhengende områder med snø i øst-, og nordvendt terreng over 1200 moh. Etter en snøfattig vinter er det nå lite snø igjen øst i regionen.
Snøoverflaten består av smelteformer som har gjennomgått flere smelte/fryse runder. På større snøfelt kan snøen være bærende, men mange steder er snødekket råttent, spesielt i nærheten av vegetasjon og steiner.

Varme og regn høyt til fjells vil svekke bindinger i snødekket og kan gi våte løssnøskred.
Vær oppmerksom på glideskred og skavlbrudd som kan løsne når snødekket svekkes av oppvarming.
