Avalanche warning for region Finnmarkskysten Saturday 30.03.2024
Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger
Published:
Generally stable conditions, but small avalanches can be triggered by skier/snowmobile in small wind slabs. Sunshine can also trigger a few small loose avalanches in steep sun facing slopes. Older persistent weak layers are considered stable at the moment.
Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.
Snow cover (in Norwegian)
Friday 29. March 2024

Advice
The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.
Avalanche risk assessment
We provide daily avalanche forecast in the period between 1st of December until 31st of May. Please remember that the forecast is intended as an aid and not the absolute truth.
