Avalanche warning for region Finnmarkskysten Friday 29.03.2024
Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger
Published:
Generally stable conditions, but northerly winds can create some small fresh wind slabs in leeward slopes that can be triggered by skier/snowmobile. Sunshine can also trigger a few small loose avalanches in lower terrain. Older persistent weak layers are considered stable as of now.
Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.
Snow cover (in Norwegian)
Thursday 28. March 2024

Advice
The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.
Avalanche risk assessment
We provide daily avalanche forecast in the period between 1st of December until 31st of May. Please remember that the forecast is intended as an aid and not the absolute truth.
