Avoid steep terrain with wind deposited snow. Wet avalanches can occur at lower elevations due to rising temperatures and rain.

Snødekket er variert etter svært skiftende vær, med mye vind og nedbør som både regn og snø, og store svingninger i temperatur. Snøoverflaten består av fokksnø av ulik hardhet eller skare. Rygger og topper er avblåst eller har skare. Det er mest snø i østvendte formasjoner.

Avalanche risk assessment

Kraftig vind og en del nysnø gir ustabil fokksnø i leområder over mildværsgrensen, som kan legge seg over rim. Forbigående stigende temperatur gjennom dagen gir fare for våte skred. Mest nedbør og høyest skredfare lengst vest i regionen, lavere skredfare i områder som får lite nedbør.
