Be careful in lee areas with wind deposited snow, typically behind ridges, ribs and in gullies. Especially where the wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Temperaturen synker, vinden løyer og nedbøren gir seg. Det kan dannes enkelte små nysnøflak i le for nordvesten men fokksnøflak fra torsdag stabiliseres gradvis og det skal mer til for å løse ut skred. Det ventes ikke naturlig utløste skred fredag.
