You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Det er store variasjoner innad i regionen. Mildvær tirsdag og onsdag gjør at snøoverflaten nå har vært våt opp til ca. 1000 moh langs kysten. Onsdag ettermiddag skal det bli kjøligere som gjør at snødekket vil fryse til og bli hardt.

Det finnes flere eldre lag med kantkorn dypere i snødekket, men disse er vanskelige å påvirke etter flere runder med mildvær.

10 mm precipitation, up to 15 mm in the most exposed areas. Moderate gale from southwest, changing to strong gale from the west during renoon. -4 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Bygevær kan gi store lokale variasjoner. Nysnø i fjellet i kombinasjon med kraftig vind gjør at det vil legge seg opp ny ustabil fokksnø i leområder.
Lavere temperatur fører til at faren for våte skred avtar.
