Very dangerous avalanche conditions. Travel in avalanche terrain not recommended. We expect intense wet slab activity around and below treeline. Wind slabs can be easily triggered in the alpine.

Avalanche risk assessment

Lørdag kveld og natt til søndag ventes store nedbørmengder og rask temperaturstigning. Mest nedbør ventes lengst nord i Trøndelag, nær grensa til Nordland. Mye regn på nysnø forventes å føre til naturlig utløst skredaktivitet. Høyt til fjells, der nedbør kommer som snø, vil områder med fersk vindtransportert snø være ustabile. Dette varslet er basert på et enklere datagrunnlag enn regionale varsler og utgis kun på faregrad 4 og 5.
