Rain followed in some places by heavy showers is expected. With the current forecast, certain parts of the region are more exposed. Specific details are found in the warning message in Norwegian. The amount of precipitation, or its location, is somewhat uncertain. Follow the weather radar.

Steep slopes, as well as streams and river with high discharge are particularly exposed.

Consequence Some landslides are expected. A few large events may occur. Exposed railways and roads may be closed. Debris avalanches/shallow slides: Soil slides and rapid movement of saturated soil in steep terrain. Debris flowds: A "flood" of water, soil and rocks in steep creeks. Surface runoff in steep terrain can cause streams to change regular flow patterns.
Advice Keep yourself updated about the development of the weather, the landslide and flood situation, and follow the weather radar. Keep away from steep slopes, as well as streams and rivers with high discharge. Keep water paths and culverts free of snow, ice, gravel, waste, twigs and leaves. Clogged waterways with dammed water may cause landslides.
Warning level meaning Challenging situation which requires monitoring and may cause local damages. Yellow level is the lowest of our warning levels.
