Solar radiation and generally high temperatures may result in natural avalanche activity. Avalanches could also be triggered by skiers. The avlanche activity are increasing during the day.

Avalanches may release spontaneously on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Avalanche risk assessment

Sol og stigende temperatur utover dagen vil gjøre snødekket vått. Det er lett å løse ut våte skred i bratt terreng, og enkelte skred kan løsne av seg selv. Skredfaren øker utover dagen.

Det varme været gir også fare for glideskred og skavlbrudd. Unngå opphold under glidesprekker og hold avstand til skavler.
