Generally stable conditions, but be careful in steep terrain, especially where wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

Det har kommet nysnø i hele regionen tidligere i uka, mest lengst sør og øst. Det er likevel lite snø i fjellet og stedvis ligger det 20-30 cm løssnø rett ned til bakken. Det er kun i isolerte leområder i høyfjellet det finnes såle under nysnøen.

Avalanche risk assessment

Fokksnøen fra tidligere i uka stabiliseres sakte ved lave temperaturer, men har gradvis blitt vanskeligere å påvirke. Med lite vind lørdag vil det være vanskelig for en skiløper å løse ut flakskred. Husk likevel at rim under fokksnøen ikke kan utelukkes. Dette gir i tilfelle mer ustabil lagdeling.
