Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Thursday 2. January 2020

Over mildværsgrensa vil snøoverflata sannsynlegvis vere vindpåverka, og fokksnø vil finnast stadig lavare ettersom mildværsgrensa synk.

Mountain weather

Thursday 2. January 2020

18-20 mm precipitation. Fresh breeze from southeast, changing to moderate gale from the southwest during the afternoon. -2 °C to 3 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Friday 3. January 2020

8-12 mm precipitation. Strong breeze from southwest, changing to moderate gale from the northwest during the evening. -6 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Advice

The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.

Avalanche risk assessment
