You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Det er observert opp til 30 cm snø torsdag morgon, men det er store lokale variasjonar. Lett vind gjer at snøen for det meste ligg i mjuke flak mot søraust. Det eldre snødekket ber preg av mildvêret førrige helg med lag av smeltefryseskare og varmepåverka snø.
Snøgrensa kryp nedover, men lite skiføre under 500 - 800 moh.

Det har vore kantkorning i snødekket, men det er førebels ikkje eit problem.

Det var torsdag eit personutløyst tørt flakskred aust for Svorundfjellet.

12 mm precipitation, up to 35 mm in the most exposed areas. Strong breeze from northwest. -10 °C to -6 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Friday 25. December 2020

1-5 mm precipitation. Breeze from northwest, changing to fresh breeze from the southwest during the afternoon. -16 °C to -7 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.
