Be careful in lee areas with wind deposited snow, typically behind ridges, ribs and in gullies. Especially where the wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Det har vore mykje nedbør og sterk vind siste dagane som har gjeve stor pålagring i austlege og søraustlege leområder. Siste døgnet har nedbøren under 700 moh kome som regn på snødekket.

Det var tysdag observert gjentatte drønn med god forplantning der våte kantkorn svikter under nysnøen søraust for Sæthøa. Aust for Finnpiggan er det òg observert drønn i snøen, og brot i kantkorn ved bakken.
