Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snødekket er generelt smelteomdanna. I høyfjellet kan det ligge fokksnø fra siste snøfall i helga som fortsatt er tørr.
Det er begrenset skiføre under 500 moh, mens det er godt med snø i høyden og i indre deler av regionen.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket fryser til og er stabilt på morgenen. Sol og varme utover dagen gir våt overflate der det kan være mulig å løse ut små løssnøskred i svært bratt terreng. Der snødekket glir på glatt underlag kan glideskred løsne hele døgnet. Unngå områder under glidesprekker.
