Snøbyger de siste dagene har gitt ujevne mengder nysnø i regionen, sannsynligvis mest i ytre deler. Perioder med kraftig vind fra V-N har flyttet på mye av snøen i fjellet og laget ustabile fokksnøflak i bratte leområder.

Kantkornlaget er nøytralisert av mildværet forrige helg. Tykt lag av is/skare er observert opptil 800 moh.

Torsdag er det observert flere små (str. 1) og middels store (str. 2) skred ved Kåfjord.

Gamle fokksnøflak ventes gradvis å stabilisere seg, men det tar tid i det kalde været. Vær fortsatt obs på at det kan løses ut flakskred ved stor tillegsbelastning i bratte leformasjoner. Skredfaren holder seg på 2 - moderat.
