Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det har vært høye temperaturer i fjellet siste uken og snødekket er for det meste smelteomvandlet og stabilt.

Det er generelt lite snø under 1000 moh.


Snøgrensen er på ca 600 - 800 moh, og høyest vest i regionen.

4-8 mm precipitation. Strong breeze from east. 3 °C to 10 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket er generelt stabilt med smelteomvandlet snø. Regn og høy temperatur kan likevel føre til høyt vanninnhold i snøen noen steder og gi mulighet for å løse ut mindre skred i bratte heng der snøen er myk og våt.

Glideskred kan forekomme på bratte og glatte fjellsider. Hold avstand om det er glidesprekker.

Vær også oppmerksom på faren for skavlbrudd fra rygger, egger og topper.
