100 cm in total No snowdrift 0 cm new snow Elevation of new snow 600 masl. Snow line at 500 masl. Layered snow begins at 700 masl Some loose snow (1-10cm) Dry Svært variabelt. Det var beinhard skare som preget snøoverflaten sist uke. Lørdag kom det nysnø i fjellet, med påfølgende sterk vind med dominerende vindretning fra NV. Derav en del vindtransportert snø. Også mange områder helt vinderodert ned på skaren. Og ikke minst noen områder med myk, fin kjøresnø.

Avalanche Danger Assessment

2 Moderate Langt mer tilstedeværende skredfare nå enn forrige uke. Spesielt knyttet til lesider og relativt ferske fokksnøflak fra helgen. Fokksnøen har lagt seg over gammel skare. Et par kalde, klare dager og netter har gitt grobunn for kantkorndannelse over skare. Noe som viser igjen på stabilitetstestene. Med nysnø, og potensielt større nysnømengder i vente utover uka så vil faregraden øke markant. Spesielt der vi nå har både svakt lag og overliggende flak fra før. Nysnø her vil være en ugunstig kombinasjon som antakeligvis vil medføre fare for naturlig utløste skred. Forecast correct
