Små mengder nysnø siste dager vest i regionen har med vind dannet små fokknsøflak i lesider. Det gamle snødekket har vært gjennomfukta og fremstår som stabilt. Det er generelt mye snø i fjellet for årstiden, og mange steder store skavler i østvendte fjellsider.

Torsdag morgen er det - 8 grader på Hemsedal skisenter (1344 moh).

Avalanche risk assessment

Direkte solinnstråling i bratt terreng kan føre til at mindre våte skred løsner av seg selv. Litt nysnø og vind de siste dagene kan ha dannet fokksnøflak i høyden, vesentlig vest i regionen. Utbredelsen vil nok være liten og flakene forventes å være små. Det finnes store skavler etter mye vestavær i vinter. Hold alltid god avstand til skavler og sigesprekker i snødekket.
