Manglende nattefrost og mildvær har gjort snøen fuktig eller våt i samtlige himmelretninger. Det er mer snø enn normalt, og store skavler er utbredt i regionen.

I indre deler av regionen finnes det et lag av kantkorn langs bakken, men laget har få ugunstige egenskaper og er vanskelig å påvirke.

Mandag gikk det et lite glideskred på Magerøya. Og et skred stengte FV98 på Ifjordfjellet.

Avalanche risk assessment

Litt kaldere og litt nedbør. Det kan dannes enkelte nysnøflak i fjellet som kan løses ut av skiløper. Gunstig temperatur gjør at stabilisering vil skje relativt raskt. Manglende nattefrost gjør at våte skred kan løsne av seg selv. Disse ventes å være små.

Vær forsiktig rundt store skavler.
