You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøgrensa kryp oppover og det er mykje bart også høgt i fjellet. I ytre strøk er det lite snø. I indre strøk og i nordsider ligg det framleis nok snø til skikjøring fleire stader. Det har smelta godt den siste tida og snødekket har vært gjennomfukta høgt til topps. Siste veka har det vore nattefrost i høgda ved fleire høve. Litt nedbør de siste dagene kan ha gitt et lite dryss med nysnø i høyden.

10 mm precipitation, up to 18 mm in the most exposed areas. Fresh breeze from southwest. 0 °C to 5 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Tuesday 22. May 2018

4-8 mm precipitation. Fresh breeze from southwest, changing to strong breeze from the west during the afternoon. -2 °C to 3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket er i hovudsak stabilisert, men enkelte stader er det lagdelingar i snødekket. På dei høgaste toppane kan det ligge noko finkorna snø etter nedbøren søndag. Ny nedbør kan komme som litt nysnø på dei høgaste toppane, der det kan gje eit mindre skredproblem med små fokksnøflak.
