Be careful in areas with fresh wind deposited snow. Keep in mind that even small avalanches can have consequences if you fall into rocky terrain.

You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snømengdene i regionen varierer. Det er lite snø i lavlandet og på vindutsette terrengformasjonar, men det er meir i forsenkingar og i høgda. Snøoverflata består stadvis av ubunden snø, men der vind har tatt er det fokksnø eller avblåst til skare eller bakken.

Det er observert kantkorn både under skare og mot bakken i regionen. Det har ikkje utgjort eit skredproblem til no.
