You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Vind fra Ø-SØ har flyttet mye snø og det preger snøoverflaten og snøfordeling en i terrenget. V-N-vendte leområder har en del innblåst snø, mens Ø-S-vendt terreng, topper og rygger mange steder er avblåst eller har skare. Før det nå blir mildt igjen var det mange steder skiføre fra 6-700 moh. Det er mest snø øst i regionen, og lite snø i vestlige deler.
