You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøoverflata blir i stor grad styrt av temperatursvingningar og sol gjennom dagen. Snøgrensa kryp stadig høgare til fjells og snødekket er no i hovedsak smelteformar av forskjellig slag.
Snøgrensa i regionen ligg på 900-1100 moh. Snø stort sett kun i aust- og nordvendte områder. Ryggar og oppstikkande terrengformasjoner er snøfrie.

Avalanche risk assessment

Generelt stabile forhold i eit forutsigbart snødekke som har gjennomgått førefall. Hardheiten på snøoverflata blir styrt av temperatursvinging gjennom dagen, og kan gi mjuk nok snø til harmlause våte laussnøskred i bratt terreng ved skiløperbelasting. Nokre skavlbrudd kan forekomme, ellers er det ikkje venta naturlig skredaktivitet.
