An increase in wind will lead to a large amount of wind transported snow. Avoid all avalanche terrain. Naturally triggered avalanches likely.

Avalanche risk assessment

Kraftig vind fra S, mye tilgjengelig løs snø og ny nedbør vil gi svært stor snøtransport inn leområder, vesentlig mot V-N-Ø. Det vil bygge seg opp store fokksnøflak som kan løsne av seg selv. Skredfaren vurderes til 4-stor i de fjellområdene i fylket som har fått mest nysnø den siste tiden. Varslet er basert på et enklere datagrunnlag enn regionale varsler og utgis kun for faregrad 4 og 5.
