You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er generelt lite snø og tidligere mildvær preger snødekket opp til ca. 1000 moh. Fra 400 moh er snødekket varierende i både form og mengde. Det er stort sett et tynt skarelag på overflaten, men noen steder tykkere lag med vindskare.

Under skarelaget i overflaten har det flere steder dannet seg et velutviklet lag av kantkorn. Dette utgjør ikke noe skredproblem før det legger seg snø over.

Det er et svært tynt snødekke og ikke skiføre før på 300-400 moh.
