Sun and high temperatures gives higher risk of wet avalanches in steep terrain. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

Natt til mandag kom det et snøfall helt til havnivå, men i solvendt terreng er nok mye av nysnøen allerede smelteomvandlet.

Under nysnøen er snødekket i all hovedsak smelteomvandlet, grovkornet snø.

Snøgrensen kryper stadig oppover og det er mange steder bart i fjellet.

Glidesprekker er utbredt.

Med økende temperatur og mye sol venter vi at det kan løsne våte skred av seg selv i takt med at den nyeste snøen fuktes opp. Husk at selv små skred kan få deg ut av balanse og ha store konsekvenser om du er på feil sted, slik som i nærheten av terrengfeller.

Unngå ferdsel under glidesprekker.

Skavler svekkes i varmen og bør beundres på avstand.
