Lack of snow. Slabs of fresh wind deposited snow can be found at in isolated features, but you should be more aware of rocks hidden by a thin layer of snow.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er generelt lite eller ingen snø i lavlandet. over 600 moh er mesteparten av snøen samlet i renner og forsenkninger. Rabber og rygger er stort sett avblåst. Det er mye oppstikkende stein. Snødekket er stort sett stabilt og består av smelteformer og ulike skarelag.
