Avalanche warning for region Salten Saturday 25.05.2024

Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger

Published:
Limited forecasts due to strike.
Generally stable conditions. The snow surface in the mountain will refreeze due to lower temperatures. Be careful in steep terrain at lower altitudes if the snow is wet and loose. If so, it could be possible to trigger small wet loose avalanches.

Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.

Mountain weather

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from northwest. -2 °C to 7 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Saturday 25. May 2024

No precipitation. Breeze from north. -5 °C to 10 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment
