Avalanche Danger Assessment
• Sunny and warm day, but still not many registered avalanches. Some self-release slides recorded in SE aspects in Lavangsdalen and Furuflaten. Good skiing in many aspects, but the weather is changing, with chances of some precipitation in the afternoon.
• A cloudy night will keep the snow warm. This means some slopes are likely to get unstable faster than with an overnight freeze.
• The strategic mindset is “Spring diurnal”. Note that there are no more guidemeetings this season.
Notes
• The guidemeeting is every evening at 18.30, and takes approximately 25 minutes. Final meeting this season is April 30th. All IFMGA guides and aspirants are welcome!
