Generally stable conditions, but it is possible to trigger small avlanches in steep terrain in the alpine where the snow is very wet. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Sommeren er i ferd med å ta over i fjellet ettersom det har smeltet mye snø i mai. I skyggesider finnes det lokalt skiføre fra 800 moh, men generelt må du over 1000 moh. for å finne sammenhengende skiføre. Snødekket er grovkornet og gjennomfuktet også i høyfjellet.

3-7 mm precipitation. Precipitation as rain. Breeze from southeast, changing to breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. 3 °C to 16 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket er generelt stabilt, men det kan være lett å løse ut små skred i svært bratte heng om snøen er veldig våt. Nordvendte heng kan bli mer utsatt der regnbygene treffer.
Skredproblemet antas å være mest fremtredende i Sunndalsfjella.

Vær forsiktig i nærheten av skavler og under glidesprekker.
