Avalanche warning for region Heiane Friday 24.05.2024

Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger

Generally stable conditions, but it is possible to trigger small avlanches in steep terrain in the alpine where the snow is very wet. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.

Sommeren er i ferd med å ta over i fjellet og det har smeltet mye snø i mai. Det er fortsatt skiføre for de ivrigste, antagelig må du over 1000 moh. og helst i terreng som vender mot nord og øst for å finne sammenhengende skiføre. Snødekket smelteomdannet og drenerer godt i alle høyder og himmelretninger.

Generelt stabile forhold.

Der det er snø vil faktorer som solinnstråling, utstråling om natta og lufttemperatur påvirke skredfaren. Vær forsiktig i bratt terreng hvis snøen er våt og løs, i så fall kan det være mulig å løse ut små våte løssnøskred. Regn ventes ikke å påvirke skredfaren, men nordvendte heng kan få våtere overflate der bygene treffer.

Unngå områder under glidesprekker og hold god avstand til skavler.
