It’s mainly stable snow, but it is possible to trigger small avlanches in steep terrain where the snow is very wet. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket er generelt stabilt. Der snøoverflaten blir våt og myk er det mulig å løse ut mindre løssnøskred. Bratt solvendt terreng er mest utsatt dersom sola kommer fram.

Vær obs på at selv et lite skred kan skape trøbbel for en person på feil sted, feks i nærheten av en terrengfelle.

Hold god avstand til skavler og glidesprekker. Skavlbrudd og glideskred er uforutsigbare.
