Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Avalanche risk assessment

Det kan være lett å løse ut våte løssnøskred i bratt terreng. Følg med om snøoverflaten blir våt og lite bærende. Naturlig utløste skred kan også forekomme i utsatte heng.

Det varme været gir også fare for glideskred og skavlbrudd. Unngå opphold under skavler og glidesprekker. På topper og rygger bør du holde avstand til skavler.
