It’s mainly stable snow, but it is possible to trigger small avlanches in steep terrain where the snow is very wet. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøoverflaten er generelt gjennfryst, hard og isete og preges av å ha gjennomgått nattefrost og solpåvirkning om dagen. I sørvendte heng er snødekket smelteomvandlet og også øst- og vestvendte heng begynner å bli mer og mer påvirket av solen.
