You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøoverflata har vore våt heilt til fjelltopphøgd. Torsdag og fredag kom det litt nysnø i fjellet.

Snødekket er for det meste smelteomvandla.

Fredag formiddag er det bygevær med litt sol i Hammerfest.
Det er lite snø igjen under 300 moh.

7 mm precipitation, up to 12 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 600 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Fresh breeze from southwest, changing to strong breeze from the west during the afternoon. -6 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Saturday 27. May 2023

3-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l during the evening. Moderate gale from west, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during the evening. -6 °C to 1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Generelt stabile forhold, men litt snø og vind kan lage ferske flak i fjellet. Det har også vore noko snø og vind som har danna flak på fredag. Temperaturen er synkande og nysnøgrensa vil også bli lågare. Der snøen er våt og mjuk kan det også vere mogeleg å løyse ut enkelte små våte laussnøskred. Ver merksam på at der det heng igjen skavlar kan det vere fare for at skavlane kan brekke og falle ned.
Der det ligg igjen snø på bratte svaberg kan det også vere fare for glideskred.
