The snow has been subject to repetitive melting and freezing cycles and mostly stable. However, be aware of instability on steep slopes with wet snow, cornices, and areas with glide cracks in the snow.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøen er smelteomdanna, grovkorna og fuktig eller våt. Varmt og fint vêr har tæra på snødekket. Det er generelt bert under 800 moh, men snøgrensa kan variere. Snøgrensa er lågast i skuggesider.

Avalanche risk assessment

Generelt er det stabile tilhøve, med eit vårleg snødekke som drenerer godt. I enkelte bratte heng med svært våt snø er det likevel mogleg å løyse ut laussnøskred. Skavlbrot og glideskred kan førekomme.

På dei høgaste toppane kan ein finne eit tynt lag med nysnø som kan kan lausne som snøballar eller små laussnøskred dersom sola får tak utover ettermiddagen.
