Increasing avalanche danger during the day. A new front is expected to bring a lot of snow above tree line. Avoid larger slopes as avalanches easily could be triggered. Natural triggered avalanshes can occur.

Wind drifted snow (slab avalanches)

on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

Lavlandet bærer preg av mildvær den siste tiden. I høyfjellet over ca. 1200 moh. består snøoverflaten av fokksnø med varierende hardhet, i vindutsatt terreng er det avblåst til bakken eller skare. Det gamle snødekket antas stabilt etter flere runder med mildvær.
