You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Torsdag kom det 15-25 cm nysnø i regionen. Mest langs kysten. I skogen kan det være svært mye tørr løssnø. Over tregrensa ligger det myke eller harde fokksnøflak, men også her er det en del løs snø som kan flyttes av vinden.

Det ligger et lag av kantkorn dypt i snødekket. Dette laget er vanskelig å påvirke og anses ikke som problem for tiden.

14 mm precipitation, up to 25 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Fresh breeze from southwest, changing to breeze from the south during renoon. -20 °C to -12 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Friday 10. March 2023

5 mm precipitation, up to 10 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Breeze from southwest. -17 °C to -9 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.
