Be careful in areas with fresh wind-deposited snow at higher elevations. Rain and rising temperatures through the day give increased danger of wet avalanches in areas with new snow from the last days.
  • The danger is greatest from Saturday afternoon

Snow cover (in Norwegian), 26.05.2023

Varmt vær har gjort at snøoverflaten har vært våt høyt til fjells. Snødekket er helt smelteomvandlet opp til ca. 1000 moh. Kjøligere vær gjør nå at snøoverflaten fryser til mange steder. I høyden ligger det nysnø.

Det gamle snødekket er for det meste smelteomdannet.

20 mm precipitation, up to 35 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 600 m a.s.l during renoon. Strong breeze from west, changing to fresh breeze from the west during the evening. -6 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

8 mm precipitation, up to 15 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 1200 m a.s.l during the evening. Strong breeze from southeast. -6 °C to 1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
