Use great caution on recently loaded slopes above treeline. The snow pack at lower elevations will quickly form into a wet, stable and homogenous mase.

Avalanche problems

Wind drifted snow (slab avalanches)

on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

Natt til søndag var det nedbør som regn til 4-500 moh. Lokalt er det kommet svært mye nedbør. Søndag kveld ventes svært kraftig vind og snøfordelingen ventes å være ujevn.

Det er stor forskjell i snømengde og mildværsgrense i denne langstrakte regionen.
